The vacuum bags used for this purpose must feature a high barrier effect against oxygen in order to prevent the food from spoiling. On the other hand the food has also to be prevented from dehydrating (so-called freezer burn).
Additionally, a transparent film should also allow for the product to be presented in the most efficient and optically positive way.
